WININGER, William Albert, Sr.

William Albert Wininger, Sr., loving known as “Al”, 66 a native of Georgetown, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2009. Visitation will be held at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel, 393 North IH35, Georgetown, on Sunday, August 16, 2009 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Graveside service will be held on Monday, August 17, 2009 at 10:00 a.m., at Berry’s Creek Cemetery. Al was born June 21, 1943, to Albert Jacob and Marjorie Nell Sedberry Wininger. Being a lifelong resident of Georgetown, he attended high school and went on to work for the City of Georgetown. Al was a municipal worker and most recently a supervisor. Al married Sandra Lynn Cornett on May 12, 1962 in Weir, Texas. Al loved the outdoors, enjoyed deer hunting and fishing, circle dirt track car racing and spending time with family and friends. Al is preceded in death by his father, Albert Wininger. Al leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 47 years, Sandra Wininger; his children, Janie Lynn Gill and her husband Michael, Albert Wininger, Jr. and his wife Sandra; his mother, Marjorie Nell Wininger; his six loving grandchildren, Sarah Paddack, Amanda Gill, Jacob Wininger, Kimberly Gill, Jeremy Wininger, and Courtney Gill; along with many other loving family members and friends. VAN NOY, David Giles

The most incredible man we were blessed to know passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2006. David Giles van Noy was born on September 19, 1942 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father Giles Lee van Noy and his mother Annie Inez Doherty. Dave leaves behind a legacy of love including his wife of 43 years Carolyn Dykes van Noy, his five children Sharmayne, Laura, David Roy, Collette, Celeste and their spouses Shelby, David Allen, Tanya, Aaron, and Danny. His prize possessions included his 15 “grandruggies” Landon, Jerimy, Ross, Timothy, Cara, Annalee, Tori, Donny, Christian, Elisha, Abigail, Kelley, Hailey, Makenna, and Presley. He leaves behind his four siblings Steve Wayne, Marian, Marvin, and Paul. Dave was a passionate father, Paw-Paw, and friend. He began his professional career as an agent with Farmers Insurance in 1974, quickly promoting to District Manager. He will be greatly missed and is greatly loved.
