John Phillip Acosta, 22, of Round Rock TX, arrived on this earth at 12:09 AM on July 19th, 1990, and went to be with his Heavenly father on April 4th, 2013.
John was a gifted young man who loved outdoor activities. He loved baseball and disc golf but had a particular passion for fishing. He landed the biggest fish of his life only a few weeks before his passing. John also had the gift of a perpetual smile. Those who knew him best knew him as a respectful and loving young man who would always say sir or ma’am until told otherwise. He touched the lives of all those he encountered and left the image of his perfect smile permanently etched in our hearts. It goes without saying that he will be sorely missed by his friends and family.
John is survived by his son, Wesley Acosta and his parents John and Terri Acosta of Round Rock, Texas, his grandparents Pompello and Violet Acosta of Dallas, Texas, Charles and Deretha Champion of Texarkana, Texas, and Jean Murata of Chicago, Illinois. He is also survived by his brother Nathaniel Acosta, sister Caitlin Acosta and nephew Jaiden Starks of Georgetown, Texas, sister Jacqueline Hill and husband Ryan and nephew and niece Maximus and Gabriella of Barstow, California. John also had many aunts, uncles, and cousins from California to Louisiana who will miss him as well.
