Carolyn E. Burks passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family, on March 15, 2009, after a battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Will Roy Burks; daughter, Pamela A. Burks of Cedar Park; son, Will Roy Burks, Jr.; and daughter-in-law, Tara Burks of Houston. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2009, followed by services at 2:00 p.m. at Beck Funeral Home in Cedar Park. Carolyn will be laid to rest at Cedar Park Cemetery.
