Chrystal Dawn Carlson, 19, of Hutto, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, April 21, 2013.

A service celebrating Chrystal’s life will be held on Friday, April 26, 2013 at 1:00PM at First Baptist Church, 1333 West University Avenue, Georgetown, Texas 78628. Interment will be at Cook Walden Capital Parks in Pflugerville, Texas.

Chrystal was born on May 6, 1993 in Austin, Texas to Christopher and Nichelle Carlson. She graduated in 2011 from Hutto High School along with numerous college hours from Temple College. Chrystal was full of life and energy; she enjoyed magic card games, bowling, was an animal lover and a computer techy. Chrystal was a talented artist and loved to paint; her loving adventurous spirit will be truly missed.

Chrystal leaves behind to cherish her memory her father and step-mother, Christopher and Joni Carlson; her mother and step-father, Nichelle and J.D. Maples; her siblings, Cody Carlson, Brenna Carlson and Travis Brown; her paternal grandparents, David and Janean Ferguson, Don and Judy Carlson and Jimmie and Brenda Terrell; her maternal grandmothers, Nancy Leggett and Mary Ellen Patterson; along with a host of extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that Donations in Chrystal’s memory may be sent to the Hutto ISD, 200 College Street, Hutto, TX 78634. The family has established a scholarship in Chrystal’s memory to be awarded to a college-bound senior majoring in art. Please designate the donation for the Chrystal Carlson Memorial Scholarship.
