Our beloved Mother and Grandmother, Sarah Perez Garza, 84, of Austin, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2008. She was born in Williamson County on February 6, 1924. Mrs. Garza served for many years as a nurse’s aide. She was preceded in death in 1987 by her husband of 49 years, Ernesto M. Garza, along with three brothers and one sister. She is survived by her daughters, Anita Garza, Yolanda Garza, Emma Garza, Janie Garza, Mary Ann Gallardo, Maria McDaniel; sons, Jesse Garza, Roy Garza Sr., and Robert Garza, Sr.; 32 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Anestacia Perez Garza. Our family’s special thanks and gratitude to Roxanne Garcia for her loving presence and support. We would like to thank our cousins, Felix and Dora Garcia, for their spiritual prayers.
