48, went to heaven on March 16, 2017 after a long & courageous fight with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Ann (McClellan) Cogan; son, Jonathan Russell Cogan, his mother and stepfather, Sylvia and Eric Schneider; his sister and brother-in-law, Lori and Bo Lane; his aunts, Debbie Walden, Carolyn Walden, Jeannette Butler and Janice Pittman; uncle, Steve Sanders; grandmothers, Dorothy Sanders and Linnea Cogan, 12 nieces and nephews, and many cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Wayne R. Cogan. No services are planned.

He loved working in the restaurant industry as a waiter and left an indelible mark on everyone with whom he came in contact. He had an incredible heart for helping others, always putting everyone else first before himself. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.
