Jewel “Judy” Mae Cope 92, of Austin passed away on Monday, April 8th 2013.
Judy was born on September 7th, 1920 in Fairfield Texas. A long-time Austin resident, Judy worked at Checker Front and Mini-max Grocery Stores for many years.
Mrs. Cope is preceded in death by her husband Donald “Jack” L. Cope, parents Luther A. Turner and Mattie Tatum-Turner brothers Roy L. Turner and wife Mildred, T.B. Turner and wife Dutch. Judy is survived by her son, Larry Cope and wife, Barbara, of Leander, daughter Vickie Eyhorn and husband, Steve, of Austin; grandchildren, Cody Anderson and wife, Chrissie, of Liberty Hill, Crystal Simpson and husband, B. J., of Leander, Randall Eyhorn and wife Natalie of Hutto, Kendall Eyhorn and wife, Sara, of Leander, Stephanie Webster and husband, Dave, of Leander, 12 Great-Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from six o’clock until eight o’clock in the evening, on Thursday, the 11th of April 2013, at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, Texas. A private graveside service will be held.
