Joseph (Joe) Doyle, age 53, passed away at his home on January 31, 2013.

Joe was born on September 28, 1959, in Kansas City, MO, to the late Dennis and Marjorie Doyle. He graduated from Shawnee Mission South in 1977. Joe was married to Shelly Wheeler, his loving and supportive wife of 31 years. Joe made his career in the furniture industry, employed as a manager at Levitz and Bassett Furniture. He grew up in Kansas City, but his career took him to Texas, where he made his home in Florence. Joe enjoyed spending time with his family and making people laugh with his quick wit and sense of humor.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, sister-in law, and fathers-in law. Joe leaves behind his wife, Shelly, his son, Greg Doyle, and his daughter, Amanda Doyle. They were truly the lights of his life and meant everything to him. Joe is also survived by his sisters, Kate Kelsall (Tom), Patricia O’Brien (Tony) and Denise Doyle, his brother, Tom Doyle, as well as his mother-in-law, Leta Pukay, and countless relatives and friends.

The family will welcome friends to a visitation held at the Beck Funeral Home, located at 1700 East FM 1431, Cedar Park, Texas, on February 8, 2013, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. The memorial service will follow at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made to the American Heart Association .
