BARTLETT,(BELL OR WILLIAMSON COUNTY) Texas — Edith Prise, 64, died Dec. 22. Cause of death was unavailable.
She was born in Spokane,(CHRISTIAN COUNTY) Mo., and lived in Independence for 30 years. She owned and operated Edie’s Restaurant in Bartlett and Taylor, Texas.
Survivors include her husband, Daniel, whom she married in 1973; daughters, Kellie Vanderford of Georgetown, Texas, Tara Sahnow of Independence; sons, Mathew Jacobs of East Hartford, Conn., Jack Jacobs of New Britain, Conn., Clarence Jacobs of Rocky Hill, Conn., and Chris Jacobs of Bartlett; sisters, Billy Raleigh and Ruby McElroy, both of Keizer, (MARION CO., OREGON); eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday at Rowe Valley. Arrangements are by Condra Funeral Home, Taylor, Texas.
