HAVELKA, Stanley J.

Stanley J. Havelka, 82, of Georgetown, passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2013. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 26, 2013 from 5:30PM to 8:00PM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 8626 Farm to Market 1105, Corn Hill, TX. 76537, with a Rosary being recited at 7:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at 10 AM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Corn Hill, with Father Stephen Nesrsta as celebrant. Interment to follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery in Corn Hill. Honoring Stanley’s memory serving as pallbearers will be John Galvan, Joseph Klepac, James Klepac, David Stanley Klepac, Rick Tobolka and John Valenta. Stanley was born on July 23, 1931 to Joe and Angeline Havelka. He graduated from St. Edward’s High School in Austin in 1950. On August 11, 1953, Stanley married his true love, Louise Valenta and began a union that would endure for 60 years. He was a retired farmer and rancher and worked as a machinist for more than 30 years at AirBorn, Inc. in Georgetown. He was an active and lifelong member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Corn Hill, Texas and was a member and officer of the KJT Society 55 of Corn Hill (Catholic Union of Texas) and RVOS (Farm Mutual). Stanley is preceded in death by his parents, and daughter Anita Havelka Galvan. He is survived by his loving wife, Louise; daughters: Diane Bringman and husband Leo of Little River Academy, Helen Havelka of Georgetown, Janet Havelka of Georgetown, Susan Klepac and husband Andrew of Jarrell, Carol Sukup and husband Kevin of Georgetown, and son-in-law Richard Galvan of Harlingen; sisters, Mary Jane Tobolka (Jerry) of Austin, Ann Sehon (Ray) of Temple, and Margie Matthews (Richard) of Burnet; brothers, Joe Havelka (Angie) of Temple and Ed Havelka (Kathy) of Belton. He was also blessed with nine grandchildren: John and Alicia Galvan, Joseph, Kristen, James and David Klepac, Margaret, Elizabeth and Clare Sukup, and a great-grandson Andre Galvan, and numerous other loving family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions may be directed to the EWTN Global Catholic Network, 5817 Old Leeds Road, Irondale, AL 35210; or to the Holy Trinity Catholic Youth Ministry, 8626 Farm to Market 1105, Corn Hill, TX, 76537.
