Idell Henry Oct. 4, 1913 – Feb. 1, 2007

Idell was preceded in death by brothers Thomas, Revel, Alpha, George and Jim Brown; sister Nana Hunter; former husband, Don Henry; son, Loy Henry; daughter, Elnora “Nodie” Linn; sons-in-law, Tommy Linn and Pat Henry; and former son-in-law, Hap Crumley. She is survived by sisters, Maude Diggs and Bertha Lee Brasfield; daughters, Doris Engelke, Naomi Henry, Donnis Buchanan and Gail Stark; son, Leonard Henry; son-in-law, Glen Engelke; former sons-in-law, Delbert Buchanan and Willie Stark; former daughter-in-law, Wanda Colley; three generations of loving grandchildren; and many other close relatives and dear friends. To school five years Then to the fields Young Idell saw What hardship yields At fifteen years A poor-man’s wife Seven children Defined her life Idell grew old And could not stay But love she left Won’t fade away Now hardship yields To sparkling eyes Amongst angels Young Idell flies Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 3, 2007 at Beck Funeral Home, Cedar Park, Texas, with Dr. Brian Whitney officiating. Interment will immediately follow in the Cedar Park Cemetery, Cedar Park, Texas. Pallbearers will be Randy Engelke, Steve Henry, Denny Buchanan, Dean Buchanan, Kevin Stark and Kyle Stark. Honorary pallbearers will be Diane Hamilton and Tiffany Rose. “We will miss you, Granny.” Arrangements under the direction of Beck Funeral Cedar Park/Leander, 259-1610.
