James Peter McNair, Jr., 59, of Cedar Park, Texas, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2009. He was born on August 23, 1949 in San Francisco, California, to Valma and James P. McNair, Sr. James proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during Vietnam and was a member of the Victory Baptist Church in Cedar Park, Texas and Gideons International. He is preceded in death by his parents and son, Jasenn McNair. James is survived by his wife, Bonnie Barnes McNair of Cedar Park; daughters, Valery McNair of Austin and Kathryn McNair of Liberty Hill; son, Morgan McNair of Cedar Park; step-mother, Lydia McNair of Greenbrae, California; grandchildren, Tori Haight and Tegue McNair; sisters, Kerry Xhaferi, Rhonda Bouya and Linda Unger; brother, Mike McNair; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at Beck Funeral Home, Cedar Park, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at Victory Baptist Church. Interment will immediately follow in Cedar Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made in memory of James McNair to the Victory Baptist Church, Cedar Park, Texas.
