NEMEC, John I.

John I. Nemec, 80, of Jarrell,Tex., passed away in Austin on June 22, 2005. John was born July 23,1924, in Jarrell to John A. and Frances Kubacak Nemec. On October 15,1946, he married Frances M. Foltyn in Jarrell. He was a farmer and rancher, a veteran of WW II serving from 1943 to 1946. John was also a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife Frances M. Nemec, children, Richard Nemec and wife Jeannette, John Nemec and wife Alicia, Dorothy Walther and husband Barney, Judy Bludau and husband Harold, Bernard Nemec and wife Lucille, Ray Nemec and wife Teresa, and James Nemec. 11 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Ted Nemec and wife Gabriell, and Paul Nemec and wife Rose, sisters, Helen Repa and Frances Friesenhahn and husband Wilburn. Rosary was said on Thursday June 23, 2005, at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel in Georgetown. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Friday June 24, 2005 at 10:00 a.m., at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in New Corn Hill with Monsignor Arthur Michalka as Celebrant. Pallbearers were: Ronald Nemec, Gregory Nemec, Patrick Walther, Eric Goodloe, Reggie Snowden and Nicholas Nemec. Burial followed at Holy Trinity Cemetery.
