Mrs. Tommy W. Cooper

We received word of the death of Mrs. Tommy W. Cooper, who died at a Houston Hospital Sunday morning. Funeral services were held at the Septegast-Kopts Funeral Home Tuesday morning.

Miss Ona Lee Jackson was born at Arlington in 1909. She moved to, Houston with her parents, the late Mr. and.Mrs. Walter Jackson when quite young. She taught school in Georgetown for a number of years, she and Tommy Cooper were married in Houston in August of 1935 and made their home in Georgetown where he had a drug store. They have lived in Houston for a number of years; she was a member of the Houston School faculty at the time of her death.

Survivors are her husband, T. W. Cooper of Houston, a son, T. J. Cooper of Houston; two daughters, Mrs. Connie Byers of Houston and Mrs. Bette Lambert of Lafayette, La., three grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Vena Mae Arebibald and Mrs. Ava Dee Wilson, both of Austin. Three children preceded her In death.
