Mary Lois Schneider, 79, of Georgetown, Texas passed away peacefully at her home August 2, 2007 surrounded by her family. Mary Lois was born on the family farm three miles west of Jarrell on July 6, 1928. She was the only daughter of Charlie and Willie Roselle (Smith) Sybert. She was the granddaughter of Johnathon H. and Cora (Dunn) Sybert and James Flowers and Florence (Hager) Smith. Wilford, her childhood sweetheart, and Mary Lois were married when he returned home from World War II, on January 1, 1946. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grand mother and friend. Mary Lois retired from the Georgetown Housing Authority at the age of 75. Mary Lois was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Wilford Schneider, her parents, and one brother, Kenneth Sybert. She is survived by her children: Wilford Charles (Pud) Schneider and wife Marsha, Jan and husband Rick Johnson, and John Behrens Schneider and wife Jane, nine grandchildren: Misty Gamble, Marla Tomaselli and Melody Walker, Kelly Schubert and Amy Johnson, and Joni, Jim, Jessica and Julie Schneider, 8 great grandchildren: Taylor and Emily Gamble, Ryan, Michael, and Troy Tomaselli and Jack and Charlie Walker, and Grant Schubert. She is also survived by nieces: Gladys Anna Garland and Kathy Smith. Serving as pallbearers were Brent Gamble, Steve Tomaselli, Todd Walker, John Schubert, Jim Schneider and Larry Barker. Honorary pallbearers were Mildred Braun, Mary Katherine Raum, Jean Holmstrom, Evelyn Birklebach, Tony and Viola Tonn. Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel in Georgetown on Friday, August 3, 2007. Graveside services will be held Saturday, August 4, 2007 at Berry Creek Cemetery in Georgetown. Pastor Campbell Russell and Brother Bob Champion officiated. A special thank you to Hospice Austin.
