SEDWICK, Wilma Novella “Chee Chee” (Rose)

Wilma Novella “Chee Chee” (Rose) Sedwick, 59 of Georgetown, went home to be with her Lord and Savior after a brief battle with cancer on October 28, 2007. A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 3, 2007 in Gabriels Funeral Chapel, 393 North IH-35 in Georgetown with Rev. John F. McCormick officiating. Interment will follow in Rocky Hollow Cemetery. Wilma was born April 3, 1948 to George “Jack” Lee and Annie Lucille (Mosee) Rose in Georgetown. She attended Carver high school in Georgetown, TX. On October 23, 1965 she married Donald Ray Sedwick. Wilma was a faithful member of Wesley Chapel A.M.E. in Georgetown, supporting her church with her presence and generosity. She worked as a finishing technician for Carbomedics in Austin for 20 years. Wilma was preceded in death by her parents and one brother. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 42 years, Donald of Georgetown; sons, Ray Steven Rose of Round Rock, Donald Ray Sedwick, Jr. of Georgetown, Corey Wayne Sedwick of Beeville; daughters, Tonja (Sedwick) Shepard of Georgetown and Sheri Dawn Scott of Georgetown; brothers, George Lee Rose, Jr. of Georgetown, Charles Rose of Bartlett, Howard Rose of Gatesville and Randle Rose of Beaumont; sisters, Joyce Marie Perry of Georgetown and Clara Toliver of Copperas Cove; aunts, Margie Jones of Houston and Lillie Britton of Lamar; uncle, Otis Mosee of Denver, Co.; 13 grandchildren, 2 foster children, and many loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
