STARK, Ruby Lee

Ruby Lee Stark, 94, of Austin, Texas went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday, February 2, 2013.

Ruby was born to Tom and Esther Anderson on November 3, 1918 in Hutto, Texas. She has been a member of Trinity Lutheran Church since 1953. She was the owner and operator of Rosedale Cleaners for 24 years, and a retired employee of Garnett Lewis Cleaners in Austin. Ruby lived life to the fullest and was loved dearly by her family and many friends and will be missed greatly.

Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert O. Stark; her parents, Tom and Esther Anderson; daughter, Pat Rasco; seven grandchildren; sisters, Loraine Johnson and Vivian Cook; brothers, Oliver and Herbert Anderson. She is survived by her daughters, Nancy Thieme and her husband, Wallace, of Austin, Texas; Yvonne VonQuintus and her husband, Robert, of Buda, Texas; sisters, Pauline Wallin, Clarice Hanstrom and her husband, Charles, of Hutto, Texas; sister-in-law, Virginia Anderson of Austin, Texas; 11 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, 31 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Seton Hospital and Hospice Christopher House Austin for providing comfort, loving care and support during this difficult time. Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from six o’clock until eight o’clock in the evening, on Wednesday, the 6th of February 2013, at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, Texas. A funeral service will be conducted at two o’clock in the afternoon on Thursday, the 7th of February, Trinity Lutheran Church, 1207 West 45th Street, Austin, Texas with Rev. Paul R. Harris officiating. Interment will follow in Cook-Walden Memorial Hill Cemetery, Pflugerville, Texas.
