Janette Louise Zurovetz, 76, of Georgetown, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2013. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 12, 2013 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel, 393 North IH 35, Georgetown, TX with a Rosary to being recited at 7:30pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 10 AM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 8626 Farm to Market 1105, Corn Hill, TX. 76537, with Father Stephen Nesrsta as celebrant. Interment to follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery in Corn Hill. Honoring Janette’s memory serving as pallbearers will be Aaron Johle, Bud Johle, Gary Johle, Butch Patton, Christopher Zurovetz and Patrick Zurovetz. Janette was born on December 11, 1936 in Buckholts, Texas to Charlie and Frances Jezisek. On May 8, 1956, Janette married her true love, Albin E. Zurovetz. Janette and Albin were married at St. Cyril’s Catholic Church in Granger and shared the joys of life together for over 57 years. Janette was a graduate of Durham’s Business School and Austin Community College where she earned a degree in nursing. She dedicated her life to the care of others and served as a nurse at the Travis State School for more than 22 years, and at Granger Villa in Granger. She was a devoted member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Corn Hill, Texas, and was a member of KJT and KJZT. She loved being around people and was an avid domino player in 42 and 88, and loved listening to polka music. Janette is preceded in death by her parents, and her sisters Edith Kaiser and Martha Bender. She leaves behind to cherish her memory: her loving husband, Albin Zurovetz; her son, Rodney and wife Susan of Austin, daughter Kathy Joiner and husband Glen of Austin, her son, Philip Zurovetz of Georgetown; grandsons Christopher Zurovetz and Patrick Zurovetz; nephews Bud Johle of Taylor, Gary Johle of Taylor and David Bender of Brady; nieces Veronica Montgomery of Austin and Rebecca Bray of Brady; and other loving friends and family.
